Booth Preparation: Welcoming the First Visitors
In the early morning, the WEIPR team arrived at the exhibition centre ahead of time to make final adjustments to the booth — arranging promotional materials and interactive items, testing electronic equipment — ensuring everythingwas in optimal condition to welcome visitors from around the world.

The exhibition officially opened at 10:00 and the booth quickly received its first visitors. Team members engaged in in-depth discussions with industry peers from different countries and regions, exchanging views on cross-border IP protection, brand strategy, and other topics. The atmosphere was lively and interactive.

At 16:30, the INTA Annual Meeting opening ceremony was held in the main hall of the exhibition centre. The WEIPR patent team participated in the entire session. As the opening event of the 2026 annual meeting, the ceremony brought together key leaders from the global IP community. The keynote speaker was renowned British entrepreneur Dame Anya Hindmarch, CEO of Anya Hindmarch, and WIPO Director General Daren Tang delivered a special guest speech.

In addition, INTA Co-Chairs Tanya Fickenscher (Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Major League Baseball) and Lara Kayode (Founder and Managing Partner of O. Kayode & Co., Nigeria), INTA 2026 President Deborah A. Hampton (Global Brand Enforcement and Trademark Team Lead at The Chemours Company, USA), and INTA CEO Etienne Sanz de Acedo, among other industry leaders, attended the ceremony, setting the tone for the annual gathering of the global trademark community.

Official Reception: Expanding Cooperation Networks
After the opening ceremony, the official welcome reception took place as scheduled at 18:30. With a "London character" theme, the reception provided a relaxed platform for networking. Core team members of WEIPR gathered with IP professionals and corporate representatives from various countries, expanding cooperation networks in a lively and uplifting atmosphere and experiencing the power of connection within the global IP community.
Future Envisage
In the following days, discussions on more topics and more exchanges among peers will continue. We look forward to welcoming more visitors at Booth 1731 and hope that through the dialogues and interactions of this week, we can build valuable connections and possibilities for the shared exploration of the IP field.
