Demonstrating a strong commitment to intellectual property as a public good, WEIPR Group marked World Intellectual Property Day 2026 by mobilizing its senior professionals across five major offline training events. From April 22 to 24, these pro bono workshops reached company executives, innovators, cultural tourism practitioners, and pharmaceutical enterprises—equipping them with practical IP strategies to strengthen compliance, safeguard creative assets, and fuel sustainable growth.
Training 1: High-Value Patent Strategy for Business Leaders

On April 22, WEIPR Group General Manager Zhang Kai was invited to deliver a featured lecture at the 2026 Enterprise IP Executive Training Program, co-hosted by the Wuhan Changjiang New District Intellectual Property Office and the Wuhan Intellectual Property Protection Center.

Speaking on “High-Value Patent Mining, Portfolio Layout, and Commercialization,” Zhang systematically unpacked the pathways to identifying high-value inventions, key cultivation techniques, strategic portfolio design, and real-world commercialization practices. The session helped C-suite participants build a patent strategy mindset, strengthen IP operational capabilities, and reinforce the core technology foundations of their businesses.
Training 2: Practical Workshop on Invention Spotting and Technical Disclosure Drafting

On the morning of April 24, WEIPR Group lecturer Cai Zhongxiang spoke at a conference organized by the Caidian District Intellectual Property Office and held at the Xingguang Yuheng Quality Service Station. The event combined a seminar on strengthening IP protection in emerging sectors to accelerate innovation-driven development with an IP financing matchmaking session.

Cai led a hands-on session titled “Identifying, Mining, and Documenting Patentable Inventions,” guiding attendees through techniques to spot inventive steps in product structures and production equipment, and providing practical instruction on drafting high-quality technical disclosure documents. The training attracted representatives from local IP protection workstations, financial institutions, and over 40 key enterprises in Caidian District.
Training 3: IP Protection in Emerging Fields

Also on the morning of April 24, WEIPR Group lecturer Li Si delivered a presentation at a special event themed “Strengthening IP Protection in Emerging Fields to Accelerate Innovation-Driven Growth.” Held at the Baidu AI Cloud Qianfan Large Model (Wuhan) Innovation Center under the guidance of the Qiaokou Economic Development Zone and the district’s economy, science and technology authorities, with support from the Gutian Market Regulation Office, the session addressed pressing IP challenges in frontier industries.

Drawing on cases from artificial intelligence and big data, Li analyzed protection and portfolio strategies tailored to emerging sectors, offering actionable solutions to help enterprises overcome operational hurdles and injecting professional momentum into the region’s innovation development.
Training 4: IP, Culture, and Tourism Integration

WEIPR Group was invited to participate in the Shashi District Intellectual Property Publicity Week training, organized by the Shashi District Intellectual Property Office on the morning of April 24. Targeting key enterprises and cultural tourism practitioners, the workshop centered on the deep integration of IP with cultural tourism.

By referencing industry benchmarks such as the Luoyi Ancient City and Mulan Night City projects, Xia offered practical guidance on building high-quality IP portfolios to sharpen core competitiveness and advance the region’s cultural tourism sector with professional insight.
Training 5: Full-Chain Packaging IP Protection for Pharmaceutical Leader

On the afternoon of April 24, WEIPR Group contributed to the 2026 World IP Day in-house training program of Jointown Group, with officials from the Hanyang District Intellectual Property Office also attending.
