On the afternoon of September 16, 2025, the "Intellectual Property Touring Sharing Salon" and the enterprise event "Policy Empowerment: Walking Hand-in-Hand with Businesses," organized by the Qiaokou District Committee and the People's Government of Qiaokou District, was successfully held at the Han Zheng Street Office conference room. The event was co-hosted by multiple local government units and industry associations, including the Wuhan Intellectual Property Rapid Protection Center, the District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, and the Wuhan Intellectual Property Service Association. WEIPR Group was invited to participate as a key contributor. Mr. Yu Hao, Chairman of the Group, served as the event host, while Ms. Qiu, Manager of the Trademark Department, delivered a thematic presentation.

The salon aimed to bring together government agencies, professional service providers, and businesses to explore intellectual property protection strategies and foster innovation in regional commerce and trade. The agenda included several engaging segments, such as the awarding of workstation certifications, presentations on talent policies, expert thematic talks, and an introduction to rapid IP rights protection channels.

During the sharing session, Ms. Qiu, Manager of the Trademark Department at WEIPR Group, delivered a keynote speech titled "Safeguarding Innovation with IP: Empowering the Future of Commerce." She provided an in-depth yet accessible analysis from three key perspectives: an overview of intellectual property, practical case studies of infringement, and protection recommendations. Her presentation clarified fundamental IP concepts, highlighted their core value in business growth, and used the "Smile Curve" theory to vividly illustrate how owning intellectual property helps companies move up the value chain.
Finally, Ms. Qiu offered systematic advice on intellectual property protection strategies. She emphasized that companies should establish an end-to-end management system covering "early-stage planning, mid-term monitoring, and late-stage enforcement." From registration and dynamic surveillance to effective rights protection, she outlined how businesses can build a robust IP "firewall" to support sustainable expansion.

WEIPR Group's active involvement and professional contributions were highly appreciated by the organizers and participating enterprises. Moving forward, WEIPR Group will continue to leverage its professional IP expertise to actively engage in industry exchanges, support enterprises in enhancing their capabilities in IP creation, utilization, protection, and management, and contribute to improving the regional business environment while fostering commercial innovation.
