On May 18, local time, the International Trademark Association (INTA) 2025 Annual Meeting officially commenced at the San Diego Convention Center in the United States. As a representative agency of Hubei Province’s intellectual property service industry in China, WEIPR Intellectual Property made its debut at Booth 2133, deeply connecting global resources through professional services and cultural heritage. On the first day alone, the team engaged in multiple rounds of practical dialogues with international law firms and industry organizations, showcasing the innovative value of China’s IP services to the world.

Grand Opening
Under the theme “Business of IP,” this year’s event attracted over 10,000 professionals worldwide. INTA President Elisabeth Stewart Bradley and other distinguished guests delivered speeches exploring the strategic significance of intellectual property in the digital era. INTA CEO Etienne Sanz de Acedo announced that the 2026 Annual Meeting will take place in London, UK, from May 2 to 6, drawing widespread attention.

Spotlight on the Booth
Adhering to the philosophy of “Chinese Wisdom, Global Impact,” WEIPR’s booth captivated international visitors with cultural products like Yellow Crane Tower folding fans and the bilingual (Chinese-English) Manual of IPR Confirmation and Protection in China. The team discussed collaborations with global partners and shared insights on cross-border trademark protection strategies for Chinese enterprises.

Notably, the President of the China Trademark Association visited the booth, praised WEIPR’s contributions, and encouraged continued efforts to advance global IP governance.

Looking Ahead
From May 19 to 21, the WEIPR team will remain at Booth 2133 and actively participate in the panel discussion “Trademark Protection in the Digital Economy Era: Technology, Challenges, and Responses.” As a WEIPR representative stated, “We aim to deepen cooperation with global peers and demonstrate the professionalism and sincerity of China’s IP services.” Partners worldwide are invited to visit the booth and collaborate on innovation protection.
