“All the charity supplies have arrived in Henan, which are very timely. We are still taking inventory of the supplies. These items will be handed out as soon as possible to those victims most in need in the disaster areas.” said Niu Ruigang, vice president of Henan Emergency Rescue Association.
Rapid Response Plus Active Collections
“Time is tight and the task is heavy. We directly contact the heads of each member unit. Wuhan intellectual property service industry will also contribute to providing relief to disaster-stricken areas in Henan!” said Yu Hao, Secretary-General of Wuhan Intellectual Property Service Association and Chairman of WEIPR, who has always been keen on public welfare. He urgently mobilized and deployed on hearing that Hubei Radio and Television Station was initiating public welfare projects in Henan. Many units in the industry spontaneously approached the association to offer their contribution when they learned about the donation project.
In just one day, with Wuhan Intellectual Property Service Association taking the lead, jointly with the Wuhan Intellectual Property Research Association and the Wuhan East Lake New Technology Development Zone Intellectual Property Service Industry Association, charity supplies aiding Henan valued more than 100,000 yuan were collected by member units of Wuhan intellectual property industry. Some unit leaders concerned about the raising project so much that they even arranged donations on their business trips in the middle of the night, and some even directly donate materials in the name of their own.
Accurate Donation to Meet Urgent Needs
Wuhan intellectual property service industry originally planned to donate drinking water, food, and other items, and had even contacted suppliers to determine the type and quantity of goods. At the night of that day, the news came out that Henan was in greater need of feminine hygiene products, toiletries, etc. The organizers of the Wuhan Intellectual Property Research Association, Wuhan Intellectual Property Service Association, and Wuhan East Lake New Technology Development Zone Intellectual Property Service Industry Association acted decisively and actively adjusted the charity items to sanitary products, toiletries, feminine hygiene products, skin care products, etc.
