On September 25th, trademark and patent attorney partners from Europe visited our headquarters for a business visit, and our general manager Zhang Kai and foreign-related business manager Chen Wenjing received the whole process.
It's such a delight to have friends from afar! Zhang Kai expressed his sincere welcome to the partners who had traveled a great distance to visit. After a tour of the headquarters' office environment, the visitors were ushered into a meeting room meticulously prepared with specialty refreshments for discussion and exchange.
Firstly, Chen Wenjing provided a brief introduction in English about our company's development history, organizational structure, core team, business development status, and international business expansion directions. Wuhan Jiecheng Zhiquan Intellectual Property Service Group, abbreviated as "WEIPR," can be interpreted as "We, the Intellectual Property Professionals." Founded in 2006, the company maintains three offices in Wuhan's Hankou, Optic Valley, and Economic and Technological Development Zone, with branches in Xiangyang and Beijing. Comprising three subsidiaries—Wuhan Zhiquan Patent Agency LLP, Jinghong Law Firm, and Zhuquanwang Technology Ltd.—our team has grown to 110 members, with over 80% holding professional service positions or bachelor's degrees and above. In recent years, our agency's intellectual property-related business has continued to show an upward trend.
Subsequently, both parties delved into discussions on strategies and trends for enterprise clients applying for overseas intellectual property protection. Zhang Kai noted that Chinese enterprise clients' awareness and initiative in applying for overseas intellectual property protection have significantly increased, and their strategic layouts align well with practical needs, indicating a stable and positive trend in the development of the intellectual property industry. Furthermore, the two sides exchanged in detail on specific cases of overseas and European patent applications in specific industries.
Finally, the discussion session concluded successfully with the exchange of gifts in a harmonious and fruitful atmosphere. The partners expressed their gratitude for our warm hospitality.
This visit and exchange not only deepened the understanding and trust between us and our European partners but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation. WEIPR will continue to uphold its business philosophy of "Serving People, Connecting the World", constantly enhancing our professional capabilities to provide even better services to clients worldwide. Simultaneously, we look forward to joining hands with more international partners to seek common development.
