Portuguese IP-Related Fees Increase by 4.3%, Effective from 1 July 2024

Recently, the Portuguese Institute of Industrial Property published the 2024 fee schedule related to industrial property rights, which will come into effect on 1 July 2024. The fee adjustments involve changes in registration of trademarks, invention patents, geographical indications, utility models, and industrial designs. Compared with the current fee schedule published in 2023, the updated official fees of 2024 have increased by about 4.3 percent overall. The following is a comparison of some of the old and new fees for the online filing.
