In February 2024, WEIPR was commissioned to represent the invalidation of Chinese industrial design patent Nov. 201xxxxxxxx.5 by a Spanish company.

On receiving the commission, WEIPR instantly organized a litigation team addressing the invalidation. Cases studies and comprehensive analysis on the involved patent were conducted. Based on the existing evidence of design, WEIPR concluded specific grounds favoring the invalidation of the involved patent rights, and presented full argument and explanation of the involved and related existing design. In the end, all right claims of the involved patent were declared invalidate due to lack of novelty.
